The Sr Director, Enterprise Brand position is responsible for directing all aspects of brand strategy and management including setting and maintaining brand architecture, developing and executing brand marketing plans, asset/creative development and compliance for the Florida Blue and GuideWell brands, as well as all subsidiary or affiliate brands.

The position will lead a team of high-performing individuals and third-party agencies/vendors to successfully deliver on critical brand projects and meet brand objectives in a fast paced environment. The position will support management of all brand-related cost centers and play a key facilitator role across numerous stakeholders in the development of brand strategy.

The position requires strong strategy and thought leadership skills with ability to collaborate with other enterprise areas and segments, including Enterprise Communications, Innovation, Legal, Customer Experience and Commercial and Medicare segments. It requires a strong "solution" mindset and the ability to constructively influence senior leaders across the organization. It also requires the ability to multi-task and manage heavy workflow within desired timelines.

Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Cultivate and drive a brand “center of excellence” inclusive of thought leadership intended to drive future of brand across all areas of the organization
• Direct brand strategy and management for the Florida Blue and GuideWell brands as well as all subsidiary or affiliate brands, including setting and maintaining brand architecture, developing and executing brand marketing plans, positioning, value prop, brand experience, messaging, identity (visual and verbal), naming, product and capability packaging, environmental branding, trademarking and asset/creative development
• Develop and execute multi-year brand marketing plans for Florida Blue and GuideWell brands that connect all brand-related activity across the organization into a cohesive and effective plan that delivers against stated objectives
• Work closely with Digital Marketing VP to develop and execute digital brand strategy across both master brands that significantly enhances digital/social aspects
• Connect and integrate brand across customer experience and member programs
• Manage all aspects of brand compliance including day-to-day activity related to the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association
• Work closely with senior leadership and business owners for alignment
• Lead the organization to understand and embrace their individual role in and contributions to building the brand
• Responsible for developing brand standards, assuring organizational understanding of brand standards, and developing a governance process to ensure on-brand, cross functional articulation of brand
• Work closely with Marketing Insights team to drive brand and marketing research and consumer insights – while mentoring a brand team to understand those insights
• Lead a team of high-performing individuals to successfully deliver on critical brand projects and meet brand objectives
• Act as primary liaison with agency team on brand initiatives, with core understanding of how to leverage agency partners and relationships to yield optimal output
• Manage all brand-related cost centers

Job Requirements:
•  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education
• 5+ years direct supervisory/management experience
• Strategic and brand management experience
• Experience managing a team of high-performers in a fast paced environment
• Ability to think strategically while also driving workflow and management of initiatives
• History of consistently delivering business results, preferably at divisional and/or enterprise function levels
• Ability to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
• Experience with personnel and departmental budgets
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to develop cohesive presentations to share with Executive Leadership
• Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives and gain support and buy-in across the organization
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
• Solid creative thinking and problem solving skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in a health related industry 
• Organized and skilled in project management
• External agency management experience
• Experience in orchestrating large cross-functional teams for new ventures, partnerships and product development work
