Essential Functions
Project Management
• Lead and manage the Sales Compensation business project team for the current operating platform including all prioritization of projects, reporting, communications, training, business requirements and technical testing. Responsible for Sales Compensation related enhancements to the following tools, AgentPoint, Callidus, etc.
• Lead Sales Compensation operational readiness initiatives that impact cross functional organizations across all areas of operations throughout Florida Blue
• Lead business project management, creation of SOPs, training, reporting and quality in all initiatives for current operating platforms, health care reform initiatives, state regulations and BCBS Association initiatives.
• Lead, develop and integrate people and processes to support corporate and departmental strategic initiatives and budget.
• Lead the collaboration of creative and innovative strategies to reach corporate and departmental goals.
• Develop, prioritize and implement strategy, setting metrics, policies and procedures to align with goals.
• Lead Sales Compensation business project team for the design and development of the Callidus and AgentPoint Platform enhancements
• Influence decision making on future updates and enhancements to the current platforms
• Works with Sales Leadership, IT teams, Channel and Segment partners to improve Sales Compensation processes and output
• Source of knowledge for the Sales Compensation process across the organization.
• Conducts root cause analysis of end to end Sales Compensation metrics to support quality and accuracy of commissions payments as well as meaningful outcomes for all business stakeholders
• Subject matter expert in building insightful reports, communications and presentations which help drive business outcomes.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and provides creative solutions.

Leadership
• Establishes critical partnerships with leadership and SMEs across all departments, including Sales, IT, HR, Internal Audit, and others
• Direct oversight of the team operations including performance management, the analysis and creation of goals and ensuring goals are met within the team.
• Builds an environment where mentoring is embraced by the entire team, providing coaching and development to team members
• Develop and teach relationship management to enable strong partnerships, within and outside of Sale Operations by communicating, collaborating and coordinating.
• Lead and direct efforts to maintain and continually improve employee morale, which includes listening and incorporating employee input in procedural/process improvement efforts, providing proper training/tools and ongoing efforts to express employee appreciation.
• Lead and develop exempt direct reports to challenge themselves to be “results oriented” and to lead by example.
• Accountable for cross-functional/business collaboration at all levels with a goal of influencing toward successful outcomes
• Influence team by representing oneself as a customer champion by demonstrating integrity, trustworthiness, a sense of urgency and commitment in a consistent and professional manner.


Required Work Experience
• 6+ years managing project work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education.
• 3+ years direct supervisory/management experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to create professional visual presentations that can be shared at the executive level
• Ability to think conceptually and strategically and creating tactical solutions to solve root needs
• Ability to effectively delegate, value and accept others input
• Experience building successful collaborative business relationships.
• Experience Agile and methodology

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
• Experience in current platforms, including Siebel, Callidus, RBMS, AccessBlue, etc.
• Master’s degree in business, health care, or related field.
• 8 or more years directly related work experience (Operations)
• 5 or more years of direct management experience
• Project Management experience
• Advanced analytical skills
• Advanced data mining skills
• Working knowledge of Operations processes of Florida Blue
