Training Delivery Internship Opportunity

This internship will have accountability for maintenance and development of the Learning Delivery Master Training Schedule, including capacity planning.  Responsibilities include Project Web App (PWA) project creation and weekly updates, supporting program managers to ensure all programs are implemented timely.

This position will be located in Jacksonville, Florida


      Main Accountabilities

  • Participate in program meetings, and/or carry out activities to support Learning Delivery on projects (both functional and learning delivery specific).

  • Participate in department/divisional workgroups and initiatives

  • Develop and build internal partnerships to improve communication, coordination, collaboration and effective working relationships within department

  • Create, present and/or facilitate meetings, webinars or conference calls to support training programs

  • Research, analyze, maintain, modify, validate and prepare data and forms, in support of Program Managers, to assist in the planning and development of content used in making business decisions. 

  • Update and Maintain Master Training Schedule for Learning Delivery team.

  • Produce, edit and distribute a variety of business documents such as reports.

  • Create a wide variety of Excel-based models; manipulate data sets;

  • Develop and manage classroom utilization and cost models for all equipment and supplies to help leadership manage classroom costs. 

  • Upload new hire and cross-training rosters in support of training classes

  • Coordinate with facilities services to book and schedule rooms for training classes

  • Recommend improvements to achieve and deliver high quality, value-added services.

  • Build and maintain detailed PWA plans (timesheets) encompassing key activities and tasks and assigning resource hours. Manage and maintain PWA job aid.

  • Responsible for uploading the DOI (Department of Insurance) report, during AEP, and non-peak seasons to ensure compliance with the State of Florida and CMS

  • This role will create and utilize a capacity planning tool to assist with planning for appropriate number of classes and determining number of trainers needed to ensure business targets are met while optimizing efficiency and costs.

  • Maintenance of the Delivery SharePoint site, development of SOPs, and communications (both internal and external).

Internship Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program

  • Cumulative 3.0 or better GPA

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong proficiency in project management discipline and methodology
